The 1000 Holes Challenge starts on the ... - I will be playing 1000 holes at a number of great golf courses to raise money for The Sick Childrens Trust.
The Sick Childrens Trust provides help for families with seriously ill children , the charity provides accommodation at a number of hospitals meaning the parents and children can be together.
During October last year our eldest boy Thomas (then just 2) was rushed to Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge where he was in intensive care for over a week .
The Sick Children's Trust provided a room to stay only 100 yards from the ward - this meant we could take turns looking after our other little boy Henry who was only 4 months old & not allowed on the ward for risk of infection.
The help the Sick Childrens trust provided made a very difficult time much easier
The Fantastic courses confirmed so far are .. Brocket Hall , The Grove , The Wisley, Stoke Park and Luton Hoo .. more to come.......
How it is going to work.. each day I will play 3 rounds , with 3 places available to join me for 18 holes .. and instead of paying a green fee , simply make donation to the Sick Childrens Trust ..... All of money raised goes to the trust ...
***** The Final 18 Holes will be a Celebrity / Amateur Golf Event , venue TBC shortly with an Auction & Great Entertainment! ***
I am hoping that through this challenge and your generous support, together we can raise enough money to provide 1000 nights accommodation for families with seriously ill children , so they can be at the hospital with their child during a difficult time.
If You can join me for one or more of the rounds it will be a fantastic event , there will be a prize draw for some great prizes , for every donation
